Official stuff:
You do not need a visa to travel to Spain and nor are there are any required vaccinations. It IS however, recommended that you obtain an E111 (obtainable from a post office or from Department of Health) in order to claim free medical treatment. You do not need to pay for an E111 but it must be stamped by a Post Office. Without it you may not be able to obtain the medical treatment you require, and you may have to pay for it!

It is also recommended to get some form of travel insurance!

Car Rental
For car hire we recommend ArgusCarHire.com, DoYouSpain and Carjet

Money:
Since Jan 2002, Spain 's currency has been the euro (€). See x-rates.com for the latest exchange rates.

Visitors can take as much money into Spain as they want (in any currency) but as with all travelling, it is recommended that you take some cash and the rest of your money as travellers' cheques.

Prices in Spain have increased a little in recent years but unless you spend a lot of your time in cities you should find you spend slightly less than you would at home (in GB).
